What is business theatre?
Business theatre is similar to live (stage) theatre in that small to large scale productions are used to excite, educate, and entertain an audience.  In business theatre, however, the audience is more specifically targeted and the message being broadcast is more defined.  The communications are content-rich, yet entertaining and memorable.  In other words business theatre productions are effective communication devices aimed at large audiences of vendors, customers, and/or employees.

Business theatre is primarily a tool for the promotion of products and services to industry professionals via theatrical production, typically involving some live component.  This may include custom live stage shows with singers, actors, dancers, taped music, live bands, orchestras and a grand finale dinner; a board member luncheon followed by a fundraising performance by a major entertainer; a public relations media news event with 1,000 invited media and other guests; or a sit-down dinner with a complex, multiple screen presentation and comments from the CEO.  Whatever the need, production companies such as Cornerstone Entertainment International have innovative solutions.

What is the wide scope of use for business theatre?
Business theatre applies to a wide variety of corporate and business events.  These may include annual meetings, sales meetings, shareholder and analyst meetings, conventions, conferences and rallies, launches, product roll-outs, unveilings, galas and grand openings, awards and recognition programs, showcases, PR news buzz generators, ride and drives, charitable events, fundraisers, and major celebrations.

How did Cornerstone evolve into providing business theatre services?

(as explained by Michael Coleman in a recent interview)
"We felt it was vital to utilize a lot of our expertise when we worked at the Walt Disney Company for more than eight years. By working there, we ended up delving more into a lot of industrial type business theatre shows with a lot of corporate multinational clients. We found that our unique way of going about creating theatre, in terms of producing it, writing it, directing it, and conceptualizing it, was a perfect mixture that worked really well within the confines of what corporate clients want. What they want is to be able to have the type of theatre that is spectacle, that excites, that is evocative, that even can be cathartic. That's what they are looking for and that's what I believe Cornerstone Entertainment brings to the table."

How do Conwell Worthington and Michael Coleman's backgrounds benefit Cornerstone's clients?

(as explained by Conwell Worthington in a recent interview)
"As we go back years ago starting in college, both of us studied in theatre.  Michael studied more in the traditional, classical approach to theatre and I studied more in musical theatre with heavy concentration into the management side as well as the producing and directing side. Between the two of us, we are able to take out the actual roots if you will and turn that into a very viable, exciting approach to taking a product that normally would be looked at as you would see it every day and giving a sharp edge to it. Michael's background is in directing, writing and composing, and my background is in directing also, which allows us to merge all these elements together to come up with very exciting products."
